Emily Spry - Integrated BodyWorks
I am an experienced, fully qualified and insured Holistic Massage Therapist.
In addition to my ITEC 3 training, I offer Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Myofascial Release Therapy and Herbalist Consultations.
I am currently mobile and can bring either my bench or my chair to you!
All we need is a comfortable working space that is warm and quiet.
Also offering Onsite Massage. I am able to come to your place of work - offices, yards, retail premises etc with my massage chair to give short, seated massage sessions. Ideal for lunch breaks after a long stressful morning in the office or once the yard has been swept and heavy chores completed on the yard for the morning!
Holistic massage is an allround massage - offering relaxing effleurage and slightly deeper techniques to help encourage blood flow and to relax and release muscle tension. We can look at working on specific areas, but as it is holistic massage - the whole body should be considered as far as possible.
Aromatherapy massage is ideal for total mind, body and spirit relaxation. During our consultation I will select and individually prepare a blend of essential oils for your treatment. The massage itself is quite light and is aimed at body relaxation and warming up the skin and muscles so that the essential oils are absorbed as effectively as possible.
Myofascia literally translated means "muscle banding" - our myofascia is the strong, fibrous connective tissue that surrounds all of our organs, bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments. It is literally all encompassing - and so when there are adhesions in the myofascia it can be very restrictive and painful.
Myofascial Release is such a powerful, but non-intrusive treatment, making it suitable for just about everybody. Fantastic for office workers, athletes, young, old, able bodied and disabled. Also, especially useful for fibromyalgia sufferers who are unable to tolerate the stronger touch.
When considering the body as a whole, it is important to notice how we are fuelling ourselves and how we could be limiting ourselves.
Whether you would like to optimise your body for general wellbeing reasons or you have a specific reason for the consultation - I will be more than happy to explore options around improving your wellbeing naturally.
Onsite Chair Massage
The perfect solution for busy people!
If you struggle to make time for yourself elsewhere in your day, why not use your lunch break to treat your body?
I travel within my catchment area (up to around 1 hour from SP2) with my massage chair to provide short massage sessions of 30 or 45 minutes.
All you need to provide is a room (or a stable!) and 3 - 6 people.
